Citrix delivery

Asked by Andrew Brehm. I have a Delivery Controller set up for XenDesktop and a machine catalogue and delivery group containing one desktop VM Windows 10 x I googled a bit and found out that apparently I am missing a "farm OU".

What I couldn't find is how to create the OU automatically and why installing XenDesktop didn't simply create the OU it so desperately needs. I found it. The hosts file had two names for the IP address of the Delivery Controller, one without domain and one with domain. I remove the one without and the VM registered immediately. Of course, it doesn't show up in StoreFront for the user in the group it is assigned to but that's another problem.

There's a page where you enter the address of mechi za simba feb 2020 Controller. Fill it in and make sure you click Add. Yes, the Delivery Controller is listed there with"Edit" and "Delete" links to its right.

I always added it there "Test connection I re-installed several times and re-configured several times. The problem isn't that the VM doesn't know or see the Delivery Controller.

The Delivery Controller also knows of the VM and can show me active sessions on it. Firewalls are off, "Test connection I had a similar issue with my VDA agent not registering. I found most of them set in automation werent running so manually Started them and it worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ok it returned what I wanted but now when I try to pipe this to an Array and print out the contents of the array this is what I get. When I ran this get-brokermachine -desktopgroupname testgroup -property MachineName.

Make sure you are matching the name of your Delivery Group exactly. This works fine when I test on various Delivery Groups. Help me understand if you will. Why did mine version output what it did? Thanks for all your help. Do you want the name of the server machine as it is set in AD or do you want the name of the VM as understood by the hypervisor?

These two names are the 'MachineName' and 'HostedMachineName' properties of the SDK object respectively, and could be the same as each other or could be quite different depending on how you have created your VMs. A script form that should do what you want assuming you need the hypervisor name efficiently is:.
